Jhanak Jhanak Tori Baje Payaliya, Dr Rahul Joshi

Raksha Bandhan

Good Morning,
Today, the sacred Raksha Bandhan ceremony is being celebrated across the country with traditional fervor and gaity. The day signifies, the love and trust between brothers and sisters. It has historical, traditional&mythological
significance which talks of the strong, the powerful, the police & the soldiers giving protection to the meek, mild and
the weak against injustice.

There was a time in our society when the women in general were considered
possessing relatively weak physique & a nature delicate or tender. As such they require protection against all evil eyes & ill treatment.Rakhya Bandhan ceremony gets validated in the above light apart from setting an example of ideal brother sister relationship. Brother guaranteeing to stand by the sister through thick and thin and the sister praying for a long and blissful life of the brother.

Devi Subhadra tieing the Rakhi on the wrist of Sri Krishna and Sri Balaram, Draupadi and Godess Laxmi tieing the same on the wrist of Krishna & King Bali respectively. Historically, queen Karnavati tied Rakhi treating Humayun as brother.

But the situation today is different as women are no way inferior to men to move shoulder to shoulder with male
members for all activities. No more the physique is a barrier as the same is being made good mostly by modern technique and intellect.Having said so, here is nothing wrong in celebrating the festival with happiness and joy for a stronger bonding, flow of love, trust, reliance and social responsibility.

Wishing a Happy Raksha Bandhan and Sacred Birthday of Sri Balabhadra. 🌺

Give but don't let the person Know....

The Highest form of love is when you do a lot for somebody.... and that somebody never gets

a feel that you are doing something for him/her !!

The love should be so much that the other person must feel that he is doing for you.... and he must

get the importance of doing things for you...  !!

The love should be so much that the person must come out of her shell and bloom like a flower....

The love should be such that the person grows.....  but never get a feeling that you are doing

something for him/her !!

The love should be such that even in small fights... take a back seat and let the person win the

argument.....

The essense of true love is Unconditional Giving....  and making a person feel important....

Genuinely !!

Anger... is it worth !

               Anger decoded
              --------------------------
The sources of learnings are many. Experience is so important to teach practically the benefits of learnings & applications. The teachings of great personalities past and present when consumed with right earnest, the same enlightens a person. The enlightening heart finds an expression in a radiant/basking face.

One of the great personalities to ever tread on Indian soil was Chanakya or Kautilya, a popular name.Teachings of Chanakya are beyond time to remain relevant in all ages.On anger, the views
of Chanakya are so practical, devoid of any sermon.

Chanakya believed that anger is one's greatest enemy as long as the same is
used for fulfilling the vested interest. But Simultaneously,he professed that anger could be a boon when utilized for the cause of the nation building.

At times, the anger is to be swallowed depending on a context and ultimate aim of protecting national interest. Not a permanet feature to forget the anger completely.Convert anger into strong resolution & the resolution into one's determination.Wait for the opportune moment to arrive but never give up the preparedness in between.

His philosophy was not confined to recitation in verses alone. He himself lived it word by word. While leaving the court of the king Dhana Nanda,he was fearless, giving the emperor an open challenge to destroy Nanda dynasty from the root and install an able and deserving person on the throne. The rest is history.

As a master and mentor,he rightly expected that the pupils being taught by him and the believers in his way of life & philosophy also followed the same in letter and spirit. Not in mere words but in actions.

Wishing a beautiful day.

Homeopathy for Migraine...

Homeopathy offers excellent treatment for migraine headaches. A detailed history taking followed by appropriate selection of drug will immensely help the patient. My MD thesis topic has been migraine headaches and have treated over 1,000 patients of migraine.

Homeopathy  has constitutional treatment which means a detailed history taking and understanding the person in detail and then prescribing a drug which matches the physical and mental condition of the patient.

Homeopathy has two-pronged approach for management of of migraine patients. One is the constitutional method where buy by a single dose of the constitution medicine is administered and other II is the the acute prescription where by symptoms of the acute phase are taken into account.

Drugs in acute phase are are Natrum Mur, Belladonna, Anacardium, Glonoine, Natrum Carb....and many more ...

Pls do meet a doctor in your area we understand your case in detail and will prescribe the appropriate medicine...

Wishing you good health..

Me or my Car ?

I was called for a visit at a plush apartment in Peddar Road. I usually travel by my bike, as it is convenient,

can go almost in all by-lanes of Mumbai and easy parking. When i entered the building, the watchman asked

me harshly " Kidhar Jana Hai"  I said "Kothari Sahab ke Yahan"   He looked at me ( looked down upon me)

and said " Wahan peche park karo aur register main naam Likho"   There was no smile.

For a moment I thought I was a courier chap or a Salesman.

Days went by, I was called again by the gentleman. This time I took my car as I had to Visit suburbs after

the visit. I was sitting behind and working on the case on the laptop....  The car entered the building.

And look at the transformation....   I was greeted with a Salaam... A huge Exploding smile, The Car

door was opened. I was told where Kothari sahab stays. I was escorted till the lift !!  Wow !!

I looked at the Mirror in the lift.....

    I was the same.

I guess that respect was to the car, not to me.........

Loneliness will never go....

Searching for happiness will never result in happiness...

The search will never end....

Sense of loneliness  will never go away....  and one can feel lonely in a crowd as well....

Just be Happy with what you have....

Anybody can be alone....  even the most successful person....

Feeling state has nothing to do with circumstances....

Be Busy....

After a lot of study and also self realization....  I have realised that the best way to

ward off unwanted thoughts is by remaining busy....

Get involved in higher activities... and involved in work which is higher than self....

Thats a sure way to be happy... and leave the thoughts which trouble you....

And Who is Happy...

And who is Happy....

And Who is happy I dont know....

The Rich have their problems...

The Poor have their problems....

The Strong have their problem...

The Weak have their problem...

The Old have their problem...

The young have their problem....

Realised is that person who smiles despite the problems.... at any time....

Learnings about Unconditional Relationships from Ramayana....

Learnings about Unconditional Relationships from Ramayana....

This was the episode in which Laxmana gets hit by a spear from the Mayavi Meghnad and becomes unconscious  and near dead !!

A series of Emotions flow....  This is probably the only time when we see Lord Rama Crying..  He cannot control his  tears..  his wounded brother lies in his arms and Lord Rama, the Maryada Purushottama, who seldom shows such emotions... is crying helplessly....

He visualises all the good Laxmana has done for him for so many years.... He sees how Laxman talks on behalf of Rama and defends Rama even before Rama says a word.....

Laxman leaves his life of a Prince to accompany Rama on exile....

Laxman left his young wife to be with Rama...   He sees how Laxmana stays with Rama like a Shadow.....  Rama is well aware of Laxmans love for him and he reciprocates as well.

Laxmans love for Rama is unconditional....

But in real life there are so many Laxmans, whom we neglect, take for granted... and many a times also feel that

Laxman has some work from me, hence he is with me.... which is not the case !!

In real life we probably understand the importance of Laxman only after he leaves us.....  or dies...

Rama is praying to God ( he himself is ) that his brother be saved....and its about the responsibility.. what

will he tell his wife and mother....   Laxman is saved... due to the heroics and devotion of Hanuman...  When Laxmana

regains consciousness Rama's  happiness knows no bounds...   Rama gets his life back.....And all is

well.....

Ramayana teaches us a lot. Every lesson is full of Moral stories.

old stories and mythological episodes talk so much about sacrifice, about giving about unconditional love, which is so rare now a days..  With a market driven by competition and insecurity, everybody is more into self...

And even if a Odd man does something totally out of affection and love ; that is seen as some hidden agenda and selfish long term motive......

But we must continue to do good work and leave....  Our objective is not to make the person understand what you are doing for him... our Motive  is his well being...  and once you see your wish being successful... and the person is helped... leave silently....

The essense of love is Sacrifice & giving....

Homeopathy for fibroids

Fibroid ........     means a benign uterine tumor.
It is commonly seen in ladies between 35-45 years of age.Of every 100 ladies who undergo
hysterectomy, in 30% the cause is fibroid uterus.

The common symptoms of fibroid are

  1.  MENORRHAGIA -abnormal heavy bleeding
  2. DYSMENORRHOEA
  3. IRREGULAR BLEEDING
  4. LOWER ABDOMINAL PAIN
  5. PRESSURE SYMPTOMS LIKE CONSTIPATION,DYSURIA,RETENTION OF URINE
  6. RECURRENT MISCARRIAGES
  7. DYSPARUNIA
  8. PAINFUL SEXUAL INTERCOURSE
  9. ABDOMINAL ENLARGEMENT
Not all fibroids cases require surgery and many cases of fibroid can be treated with great success using homeopathic medications.

We have had so many cases which were advised surgery (removal of uterus) and the patients after coming to us have responded so well.truly homeopathy offers an excellent relief to patients with mild to moderate size of fibroid.

the approach to treatment is multipronged with constitutional medicine as the mainstay, with other specific and structural remedies in the fray.Seeing the past papers i can see drugs like calcarea carb ,trillium pendulum, sabina  , calcarea flour , fraxinus americana , thuja , thlapsi bursa pastoris creating a good amount of relief to  the patient.

Today i was privileged to speak in the Help Library on the same subject. I was accompanied by my colleagues Manisha Parekh and Shreyas Panchal .I really appreciate their efforts to speak for the first time in front of the camera.

I hereby conclude that homeopathy has a good scope for uterine fibroids. The remedy selection should be done properly and the followup criteria with  sonography should be done every two months .This will yield good results. Those cases which are purely surgical (Dr.Samuel Hahnemann who was the founder of homeopathy was never against surgery) need surgical intervention....

We wish a good health and speedy recovery to all ladies....

The most important thing in the world is Familial Happiness..

Elders to bless... Caring and loving Husband/ Wife...

A cordial atmosphere at home.....

You have this all  ??    Trust me you are very blessed....

Ask those who don't have this ?? Their life is so miserable...
And no amount of riches or education can get these things.....
Sometimes I feel its just destiny....

to know about things.. The procedure Involved A undertaking signing, request for admission, detailed
medical history to be filled by the patient, attaching some medical reports of relevance. After filling this,
you Pay the advance and deposit, which is nominal. Then the Doctors see you... and after a detailed
History and examination, suggest a diet and treatment Plan for you...

And thus you are In the premises.... in your Room  !!!

The basis of the therapy is.....  Less Food, little or no spice, Little Salt, more natural food...
Very little Oil....  Lots of Salads, Fruits and Lots of Water...

" If one has to live long... then he must not eat too much"  !!

First few days were a bit difficult to adjust to the "Salt-less food" but after some time we started
       enjoying it....

The Diet is highly customized, but many people come for Obesity/ Diabetes...

" The Food is costumized as per your Problems. The obesity people are kept on Soup and vegetables
or fruits... once a day.. or for a few days...

8)  The Overall Atmosphere-

Everybody here has come to get their heath back....  People here talk about good health... the
general discussions here are about food and exercise... which is Good... The authorities discourage
general talks... Mobile phones... and Chit chatting !!  People come here for a purpose and all are
engrossed in self... !!    The Teachers and the doctors are very helpful and answer all your questions...
But its not like a school where you are under a scanner all the time.. They set you free !!
Its up to you to make the best of it....  nobody will ever check on you ....  But well all of us are grown
ups... and Should we Fool ourselves ??

9)  The Rooms, Rent & Other costs-

By and large its a very Clean place... The Kitchen too is very clean and so are the treatment rooms.
One cant expect a Star Hotel set up, but lot of efforts are taken to keep it clean...

The rooms start at Rs 150 Per head per day to Rs 800 per head per day, inclusive of Stay and treatment.
The massage and Food is not included. Massage is around 50 - 90 Rs for a 45 min session. Rs 50 for a
50 Kg person and 90 for a 90 Kg person. For a very heavy person is slightly more. Food and Drinks
will be around Rs 100 per day, which is very reasonable.

The higher denomination rooms are ofcourse better, with 24 hr Hot water and bigger space. But the simple rooms too are clean. and well ventilated... People with humble resources can also enjoy a good stay
   food and treatment here....

    There is No Discrimination....

10 )  Conclusion-

People come here for 7, 14, 21 days... even a month...

Its a very good stay... Good Facility and Great Value for money... Its non- commertial.. and you can
make it out once you come here....

We saw people from all sections/ all age groups/ different areas of India, world coming here.... and
leaving with a smile.... Leaving with Reduced weight....  and Planning a Next visit soon !!

Even I will come here... soon...

Thanks Mahatma Gandhiji ( Founder), Manibhai Desai  & The entire Staff of Nisargopchar Ashram..
